    Kaasmarkt

    Van maart tot en met september vindt de iconische Kaasmarkt in Alkmaar elke vrijdagochtend plaats op het Waagplein. Je beleeft er een eeuwenoude traditie die teruggaat tot 1593. In juli en augustus zijn er ook avondkaasmarkten op dinsdagavond.

    Architectuur

    Alkmaar heeft een historisch centrum met bijna 400 rijksmonumenten en een schat aan middeleeuwse bouwwerken. De bekendste bezienswaardigheden zijn het Waaggebouw & Waagtoren, de Grote of Sint-Laurenskerk en de Accijnstoren.

    Musea

    Alkmaar biedt een gevarieerd aanbod aan musea, variërend van lokale geschiedenis tot ambachtelijke tradities. Topmusea zijn het Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar, het Hollands Kaasmuseum, het Beatles Museum en Nationaal Biermuseum De Boom.

    Winkels

    Je kunt uitstekend winkelen in de binnenstad en diverse winkelcentra in Alkmaar. De grotere winkelketens en leuke boetiekjes vind je voornamelijk in de binnenstad. Enkele andere winkelcentra zijn de Mare, Ringers Winkelcentrum en De Hoef.

What is the easiest way to get to Alkmaar from your vacation park?

Alkmaar is easy to reach from our vacation park in several ways. It takes fifteen minutes to drive from our park to the city center, where you can park in several parking garages. It is also possible to rent a bike at our park, with which you can cycle to the city in about 45 minutes. It is also an option to travel by bus from West Graftdijk to Alkmaar Station.

What is there to do at your vacation park near Alkmaar?

When staying at our vacation park near Alkmaar, it is of course advisable to explore the surroundings, but there is also plenty to do at our park! Among other things, you will find a wellness area, an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a restaurant and snack bar, several playgrounds and a mini market.
