Just a half-hour drive from our vacation park you are right in the heart of Amsterdam. It's the ideal place for those who want to visit the lively bustle of the capital, but prefer to end the day in peace in the evening. Amsterdam never bores: from a boat trip through the iconic canals to wandering through the streets of the Jordaan or an afternoon strolling through the many museums. You can easily combine a day full of impressions in the city with a relaxing evening in your own cottage in the middle of the North Holland polder landscape.

Staying in a vacation home near Amsterdam

Our vacation homes are decorated so that you will feel right at home, whether you come with your partner or with the whole family. Our houses are fully equipped and built in the typical old-Zaan style. So you can choose a place right on the waterfront or a house with private wellness, so you can warm up in your own sauna after a day in the city. The vacation homes are detached, have a modern kitchen and can accommodate groups of up to 14 people. Don't feel like going out for a day? Then take a dip in the indoor or outdoor pool. For the children there is an enthusiastic animation team during the summer vacations, a play beach and a cozy animal pasture to entertain them all day.

What can you do during a vacation near Amsterdam?

Besides the famous sights in Amsterdam, there is much more to discover in the immediate vicinity of our park. For example, visit the Zaanse Schans for the windmills or go to Volendam to taste the atmosphere of the old fishing port. If you love nature, you can indulge yourself in the polder with numerous cycling and walking routes. For a day of water fun with the kids, recreational area Het Twiske is a must or visit the magical world of Sprookjeswonderland. There is always something to do in this part of North Holland.

    Beleef de stad vanaf het water. Een rondvaart door de historische grachtengordel is de beste manier om de prachtige architectuur en de vele bruggen van Amsterdam te bewonderen.

Are your vacation rentals near Amsterdam pet-friendly?

Your faithful four-legged friend is most welcome with us! In our vacation homes you can bring a maximum of two dogs. We even have some specific homes with a fenced garden, so your dog can safely run around outside while you enjoy the terrace.

Where in Amsterdam is the best place to park?

We often advise our guests to use the P+R locations (such as P+R Sloterdijk or P+R Noord). Here you park inexpensively and transfer directly to the streetcar or subway, putting you on Dam Square or Museumplein in no time without having to search for a parking spot.

How do I get from your vacation park to Amsterdam by public transportation?

From our vacation park you can walk in about 20 minutes to the bus stop in West Graftdijk. Here you catch the bus towards De Rijp, where you then change to the direct connection to the center of Amsterdam.
